Direct Access is one of the most powerful—and nuanced—skills within IFS. This consultation day is designed for therapists who want to deepen their confidence and precision in working directly with protective parts. Through case consultation, experiential practice, and clinical discussion, we will explore therapist Self-energy, recognizing when Direct Access is appropriate, navigating challenging protector responses, and supporting deeper collaboration with protective systems. Particular attention will be given to working with highly protective systems, neglected systems, and moments when Direct Access becomes complex or begins to stall.
Limited to 6 people. Hours count towards IFS Consultation Certification.
